Legal Notice

A Grado Propio or University Own Degree is legally awarded by the recognised university as a sui generis (on its own) academic degree, but is not recognised or accredited and will, hence, not be evaluated as equivalent to an official degree – this refers to professional recognition for the purpose of execution of a regulated profession; or the academic recognition in terms of admission to further studies or promotion to an academic position.

A Grado Propio degree aims at candidates who intend to demonstrate their individual qualification through an academic degree awarded by a real university based on individual skills, knowledge, and merit. Candidates do not need an official professional or academic recognition.

Recognition of Prior Learning is conducted in accordance with international standards and recommendations of UNESCO, European Union, or national regulations (e.g., VAE, VES in France).
